“James Whitcomb Riley was the poet of the Hoosier, and Jimmy loved to read from his work, which he did one day for me after dinner, to give me a feeling of the people and place whence he had come.” - Dennis Stock

How I feel right now.
Sorry about all my whining today,
it’s this motherfucking eye-gouging, cock-sucking summer cold.
It’s getting to me.

I really like the drawing but I don’t see why you wouldn’t just get it printed on nice paper and frame it on your wall? Am I the only person who doesn’t understand why people get tattoos?
Today, I woke up on the floor after I fell asleep last night while counting my tips. The pennies stuck to my face and left large blue circles from the copper. The blue won’t come off. I have my senior photos today. My appointment can’t be rescheduled. FML

Follow Up of the Day: Nick Simmons has finally responded to allegations of plagiarism levied against him for “certain similarities” between his recently halted manga miniseries Incarnate and Tite Kubo’s Bleach.
In a statement released through Comics Worth Reading, Simmons calls the similarities “an homage”:
Like most artists I am inspired by work I admire. There are certain similarities between some of my work and the work of others. This was simply meant as an homage to artists I respect, and I definitely want to apologize to any Manga fans or fellow Manga artists who feel I went too far. My inspirations reflect the fact that certain fundamental imagery is common to all Manga. This is the nature of the medium. I am a big fan of Bleach, as well as other Manga titles. And I am certainly sorry if anyone was offended or upset by what they perceive to be the similarity between my work and the work of artists that I admire and who inspire me.
Tite Kubo said earlier via Twitter that he was “more interested in the fact that Gene Simmons’ son is a mangaka than whether he’s plagiarizing me or not.”
What say you? “Bad artists imitate, Great artists steal”?
